As Christians, we don’t operate from the place of emotion but from the place of truth. Tell your soul to sing.
Life happens. Good things. Bad things. Confusing Things. Things you choose. Things you don’t choose. The wilderness is a place where we may find ourselves, feeling alone with many questions about why things are the way they are. Being full of faith doesn’t safeguard you from entering it either.
It is so easy to lose focus as we live this fast-paced life. Focusing on the details overwhelms us. However, the Lord grounds us by commanding us to fix our eyes on the things above.
Because Christ is sovereign and limitless, my “morning” can come boldly in the depth of night or during my darkest spiritual hour.
I began to reflect on how I honor and express my love to those dear to me. It’s not enough just to say three words. Love is an action.
He is a good father that wants you to enjoy life, play peek-a-boo, and stop fretting about the unknown.
To constantly take our dreams and desires out of God’s hands in an effort to micromanage is rooted in pride and results in worry, fear, and lack of faith that God is who He says He is and that He will do what He says He will do.
My goal is to be intentional about the words I speak. I choose to speak LIFE!
You just have to begin. You just have “to go into the first part of the process” and God will strengthen and direct you as you go.
We pray that your eyes will be opened to how wonder can meet the mundane of your life when you challenge yourself to turn your thoughts to Jesus on a regular basis throughout your day.
